Do I need to wear Yoga pants to do Yoga?
There is huge section of the fashion industry dedicated to Yoga clothes but to practice you simply can wear anything that is comfortable and allows you to move freely when doing poses.
Wearing gym like clothes joggers/legging/shorts and t-shirts/sweatshirts or tracksuits are fine. You don’t need special Yoga pants to attend a class.
Layering clothes is a good option as you can remove and add layers as the body warms and cools during your practice. It’s also best to have bare feet when practising but socks can be worn in most warm ups and Shavasana (relaxation pose) in classes.
