What are the benefits of practicing Yoga?
In a nutshell practicing Yoga should make you feel good both physically and mentally as well as helping you to relax and quieten the mind. Yoga uses the physical postures/poses (asanas), breath work (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana) to help calm and relax the mind, body and breath. Yoga is a great tool to promote positive mental and physical wellbeing. It’s a holistic tool to promote wellbeing and provides a sanctuary to unwind, de-stress, and focus thoughts.
Yoga should make you feel rejuvenated and refreshed. Whether you seek relief from back pain, aim to enhance mindfulness or improve flexibility in your practice or simply revel in relaxation, Yoga can enrich your mind, body and spirit.
Most classes can be adapted to suit everyone, making Yoga accessible to all. Yoga isn't about touching your toes or being flexible it is about being in the moment and finding the peace within. There are so also many different styles to suit everyone too!
